During the past five decades, Dr. Green has accrued a wide range of experience as a clinician, consultant, educator, columnist, public speaker, hospital administrator and community leader. He has conducted a private psychology practice for several decades in Dutchess County, NY at several locations including, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and currently, Hopewell Junction; opened a second office in Chappaqua of Westchester County, NY for the same purpose; written and published hundreds of articles in newspapers and magazines, offered public lectures through community organizations, conducted informative radio programs; and taught college courses in psychology. Most recently, Dr. Green has authored a popular book about making decisions called, “Decisions, Decisions…”, that was published in September, 2010 and available internationally.

Committed to continued growth and development in his field, Dr. Green participated in post-doctoral training seminars in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, various forms of Biofeedback; and became a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming,™ (NLP) a model of human experience that is distinguished by precision in awareness of the internal sensory experiences that lead to external behaviors.

Evolving from NLP, Dr. Green’s work became centered on The Mythogenic Self™ Process, designed and developed by Dr. Joseph Riggio an internationally-known Business Consultant and Advisor and Master NLP™ Coach/Trainer. This is a process of how we discover and express our identity. Both neuro-biological and experiential in form, what is tracked in this model is the position held within the body called, the “somatic form” (i.e., micro-muscular movements, postural shifts, breathing changes) and the “themes” people express through the stories they tell themselves and others. The work is based upon a positive framework of what is possible for someone as opposed to other models of human behavior– including NLP—which begin from the limitation or “problem state.” By illustration, “What is wrong or needs to change” has now become, “Who do you know yourself to be when you already work well?”

Dr. Green is currently a Licensed Mythogenic Self™Facilitator.

We wish you the “life of your dreams.”
